Experience
- Group fitness instructor and personal trainer since 2010
- Trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (British Army) and placed in the top third for physical fitness
- Has been representing New Zealand in Karate and leads fitness sessions for the NZ National Karate Squad Training Camps since 2013
- Volunteered teaching sport and motor skills to children during studies at the University of Exeter
- Volunteered working with the elderly who survived stroke and assisting in exercise rehabilitative training
- Volunteered with The British Red Cross as an educator in teaching First Aid to vulnerable groups such as children in schools and refugees
CHRIS BENNETT – Instructor

- Current National Coach with Karate New Zealand
- Previously successful international competitor – 5 times Oceania Champion and 2 time Commonwealth Champion
- Sensei (Teacher) with Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu Karate-do New Zealand with Yondan Grade (4th level black belt)
SUNDAR RANGANATHAN – Head Yoga Instructor
Experience
- Trained in the world renowned Krishnamacharya’s Yoga Mandiram under Krishnamacharya’s son TKV Desikachar in Chennai, India
- Began teaching Yoga in the Mandirim for TKV Desikachar in 1989-1991. He taught in London then returned to Chennai to teach at the Mandiram in 1994-1998
- Learned Yoga Sutra under TKV Desikachar’s son, Kausthab
- Taught Yoga Sanga for Ann Brice’s classes in Auckland 1998
- Began teaching Viniyoga (an authentic and traditional one-to-one style which focuses on breathing and movement) adapted for groups for own classes in 1999
POOJA SUNDAR – Yoga Instructor
Experience
- Began Yoga training in 1998 under the instruction of her father, Sundar Ranganathan, predominantly in Viniyoga
- Assisted teaching her father’s classes and taught independently since 2012
- Her whole family (parents and younger sister) all practice Yoga – living by their philosophy that xercise is for life and better done together!
- Trained in Seido Karate-Do since 2012 and has currently attained the grade of 2nd Kyu Brown Belt
